GMO transparency
Decisional transparency is the strongest signal of democracy existence and development. Assuring transparency means that the authorities communicate the public how their interests are served, how he public money is handled and also that the authorities take responsibility for the actions they take for the public interest.
For the GMO sector, InfOMG made materials which help the public easily identify which authorities have responsabilites in this field, the description of these responsabilities and the official authorization procedure for GMO cultivation. The information was gathered and processed by InfOMG, analysing the current legislation and adressing public interest information requests to the romanian authorities.
