- The Independent Center for Environment Resource Development – CIDRM (Centrul Independent pentru Dezvoltarea Resurselor de Mediu). Non governmental association based in Cluj Napoca, implementing programs and projects which contribute to the defending of constitutional rights regarding a healthy and balanced environment, development of the non governmental sector of Romania and the improvement of the decision making process of the public administration regarding environmental issues.
- Eco Ruralis. Working for organic and traditional farmers in Romania. Non governmental association based in Cluj-Napoca working in defending farmers’ rights to practice organic and traditional agriculture; including the right to use, multiply and distribute traditional seeds, the right to food sovereignty, strict biosecurity regulations and respect for consumer and environmental health.
- Clubul Ecologic Transilvania. Non governmental association based in Cluj Napoca. Areas of interes: sustainable development, agro-tourism, part of the anti-GMO campaign from Romania.
- ExtrAArt. Non governmental association based in Cluj Napoca, providing assistance in the social, cultural, art and humanist education and art fields.
- Hosman Durabil. Non governmental association based in Hosman village, Sibiu county, working to motivate young people in the countryside and support the educational and cultural development in rural areas.
- Mindbomb. A Romanian initiative group established in 2002, which has proposedt he use of art in a social and environmentally changing way (militant art), claiming public space and initiating dialogs and public debates around the most stringent problems of public interest.
International:
- Friends of the Earth Europe. Non governmental association based in Bruxelles, working for environmental protection in more than 30 countries with thousands of member groups in Europe; being part of the global Friends of the Earth International network.
- Inf’OGM – veille citoyenne. Non governmental association based in Paris; does research work, documentation and information about the GMO status in France and the whole world.
- Agrolink Non governmental association based in Sofia, founded in 1999 by a team of agronomists, botanists, environmental activists and farmers working to minimize the impact on natural ecosystems caused by conventional agriculture.
- GM WATCH. Non governmental association ensuring GMO related news monitoring at an international level. The office is coordinated from Europe.
- GENET. European non governmental network founded in 1995 in Switzerland. GENET deals with information about GMO at a European and International level. In the present there are 51 GENET member organizations in 27 European countries.
