Funders
InfOMG thanks the fundations, organizations and people who have contributed to our activities over time.
Raising funds is not an easy acticity for non-governmental associations, especially when it comes to progressive and independent campaigns. Milions of euros from the public budget are spent every year for genetically modified organisms placement on the market. Even more money are spent by the biotech industry for influencing Governments and EU decisions in favour of genetically modified organisms. No public money is spent for information evaluation campaigns of risks of using genetically modified organisms.
Our policy. To guarantee our independence, we do not accept funding from public institutions or governmental agencies. Also, we do not contribute to to the greenwashing mechanisms developed by some economic agents (also known as corporate social responsibility - CSR) we do not accept funding from commercial multinational or other size companies whose activities generate pollution or social and economic injustice.
We are proud by the fact that we are supported by small and independent foundations that allow us to continue our work, according to our principles.
